Background of the study: A chronic and untraceable condition pain is burning mouth syndrome (BMS) commonly observed in middle-aged elderly people both genders. Many psychiatric disease that include anxiety levels, personality disorders depressions are caused by oral problems i.e dysgeusia, mouth, malodour dry mouth. Objective: This study aimed investigation factors risk associated with BMS Design: It was a systematic review. Material Methods: Inclusion exclusion criteria were used studies published from 2008 till date review included For gathering relevant studies, some key words to find already material “elder, older, / BMS, health problems, people”. Moreover, for enhancing relevancy appropriateness, Boolean operators like AND, OR, double quotations, asterisk etc. used. Popular good reputed databases peer-reviewed articles journals PubMed health, Google scholar, EBSCO host, CINAHL, Embase Cochrane Library. table comprising columns title, name author, sample size, research objective, limitations findings prepared data extraction. Conclusion: From review, it established older numerous dental procedures, increased age, lacking therapeutic treatments, lack knowledge besides poor practices medical staff care being given age especially post-menopausal stage women.
